Clasique offers an extensive Pilates Teacher Certification Program through close training with Teacher Trainer Brooke Tyler and renowned master teacher Dorothee VandeWalle of Metropolitan Pilates in Seattle, WA. Dorothee VandeWalle is recognized as one of the leading teacher-trainers and master Pilates practitioners in the world. Clasique is a satellite studio to Dorothee’s Metropolitan Authentic Teacher Training Program and is proud to offer this amazing, intimate, comprehensive teacher training in the original Pilates method.

This 700-hr training program involves observation, study, workshops, client teaching and daily hands-on learning with Brooke right here in Asheville. Apprentices in the program attend seminars and pass three levels of testing, Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced level tests. Apprentices train side-by-side with Brooke at Clasique in Asheville and receive an incredible amount of personal attention through the process of learning the art of Pilates, advancing personal workouts, and learning to teach clients of all ages & abilities.

Master Teacher Dorothee VandeWalle is recognized as one of the leading teacher trainers and master Pilates practitioners in the world. Brooke Tyler was one of the first apprentices of the Metropolitan Authentic Teacher Training Program with Dorothee 10 years ago, and Brooke continues to train with Dorothee as a Teacher of Teachers.

Dorothee VandeWalle has trained instructors at Pilates Certification Centers in New York, Chicago, Seattle, and Atlanta, and at Mari Winsor Studios in Los Angeles, California. She's been teaching Pilates for 20 years and used to assist master teacher Romana Kryzanowska with teacher training seminars. Dorothee has studied authentic Pilates since 1985 with Romana Kryzanowska and has been teaching in Seattle since 1993. Originally from Belgium, she started dancing at the age of seven and was trained on scholarship at the Institute für Buhnentanz. She danced professionally for over ten years in Europe and the United States.
